Why is surface treatment important?

Surface treatment means changing the surfaces of an item either for aesthetic reasons or to improve electrical attributes, temper or corrosion resistance. The electrical attributes cover adding and isolation of electricity. The purpose behind an improvement of an item’s temper is obviously due to the need to strengthen the item. The most frequent reason for surface treatment is to improve corrosion resistance. If an item is especially meant for outdoors use there is a risk of damaging due to air and water.
